(10 mins read) I finished my thesis in March 2019 but I still think about it all. It was a process and I’ve learned a lot. I am sharing some of the knowledge here. In the first part, you will laugh at my naivete and failure. Stick until the end for practical tips. Make today count!
(10 mins read) I have set my objectives for 2020. And, boy, oh, boy, aren’t we ambitious? I detail my process for setting objectives and it may look complicated, but I promise it’s not that much work. It works good for me and I imagine it to work well for those who want to live their lives with more intention. In the end, it’s all about what makes each of us happy.
(15 mins read) A new year is approaching and I am looking forward of planning my 2020 actionable goals. I write about why I set goals, how I keep track of them and what’s my word for 2020. I make myself look like there’s no place for fun and spontaneity in my life, but that’s not true: there is plenty of time for it within my planned activities :)!. How’s your 2020 going to look like?
(10 mins read) Not only I love sleep, but I started writing about it. I go on and on about my sleeping patters and tell embarrassing stories from my childhood. But hey, we live and learn. Get your sleep and make today count.
(10 mins read) I need to warn the readers from the start that this post is focused on negative aspects concerning my experience with audio-books. I write about the lessons I learned for myself after using an audio-book app on my phone for about a year. I point out 5 reasons why I stopped consuming new audio-books, considering my own experience.
(15 mins read) This post is about 5 things I like to do but I find hard. Because of this reason, forming these habits is almost impossible for me. The most important lesson of this post is that one can do what one finds to be hard, especially when the respective action is meaningful to one’s life. Make the day count!
p.s. This post may contain contradictory information, complaining and gratefulness all in one. I am a complex being, what can I say?
(10 mins read) In the last couple of days, as a result of what I was reading in The Daily Stoic book, I kept thinking about the difference between “have to do” and “get to do”. An implementation first step would be for me to rename my current “To do list” excel file “Get to do list”. Really, I listed mostly items I feel grateful to have the opportunity to do, but for a reason or another, I keep on procrastinating with getting them done. A switch in approach does not sound like a bad idea. But is it really all it takes to procrastinate less? I got the opportunity to actually practice it with one of the most dreaded items of my list.
(5 mins read) I mention two random things my grandparents taught me; these things are now making my day a little better, which make my life better. Miss them so much. And June is the month of them.
As I mentioned in a previous post, What is my December (almost) all about?, this month I take time to…
This post is about what I have planned for December 2018. This last two months I have tried to decide…
